The Conservatives presentd an amendment to a Labour child protection bill yesterday, claiming it was seeking a new inquiry. It was not, they lied. But it's hard to catch these lies out because it's not easy to find the text of amendments unless they are shared by MPs. However, one MP, Richard Burgon, did just that and we can now see the truth for ourselves.
