It is always good to bring essential stuff to pre-releases like sleeves, a deck box or case to hold cards, a playmat, memory trackers/markers, and snacks.
The thing with this set is it is more archetype heavy than before but that might be a good thing to make some synergy easier to use when they line up with less valuable and swingy SR's and SEC. With so many cards that want to be hard played and having alternative ways to use them deck design is gooing to be a little more complicated than basic ratios.
The important thing to think about and ask yourself are...
What does your pool of cards look like?
What is my win con?
What are my synergies (especially cross-color and archetypes)?
What cards should I be using?
Then BREAD
The big rule change for limited is that we can Evolve from any color. The thing to keep note of is any other color requirement is still under the normal rules of the game. you also can put a rookie in raising if there is no egg.
