HOW INDONESIA HAS BEEN "ROBBED" BY SINGAPORE FOR DECADES

According to the Central Statistics Agency, Indonesia's oil imports in 2022 were largest in value from Singapore, amounting to 10.3 billion US dollars out of a total of 40.41 billion US dollars in oil imports.

But did you know, Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, has been supplying oil to Singapore for years. Yet, somehow, Singapore, a small country without reserves, ends up profiting way more than Indonesia does. How can it be? Well, that’s exactly what we’re digging into today. This isn’t just about oil and gas. It’s about how one country can take advantage of another’s resources and somehow come out looking like the winner, leaving the other country stay poor with less profit. It’s a relationship that’s been going on for decades, and most people have no idea it’s even happening.

Indonesia produces the crude oil, sends it over to Singapore, and then singapore processing the crude oil into fuel, and selling it back to Indonesia at a value many times higher. It’s like if you sell an egg to your friend, and then they draw a bird on that egg and sell it back to you at a price 5 to 10 times higher.

While all these trade relations may seem clean and legal, no one knows that within them lies a conspiracy, scandal, and massive corruption.
