Robert Walker, aka MaxRev, does a shakedown with the Evasive Motorsports Scion FR-S at Buttonwillow Raceway, CA. Sponsored by Scion, the FR-S project was built in less than 3 months in time for the 2012 SEMA convention. This is the first time the car has hit the track, without any testing due to time constraints between events. Fortunately, with a great team, we were able to break the 2min mark and clocked in an official lap time of 1:59.2, taking 3rd placed in the unlimited class at the 2012 Super Lap Battle x Global Time Attack Finals. Evasive Motorsports will be continuing the project into 2013 and plans to make additional adjustments to suspension, aero, and engine. This is also the debut of the HKS GT Supercharger kit for the FR-S, which will be available first half of 2013.
