Paul Newton our Production Manager describes how aligners are manufactured at Ashford using an automation machine called The Atlas Mill, from an American company called Digital Dental.

This machine allows one operator to produce, cut out and finish many aligners each day with exact precision.

The precision comes from the speed and angles of the cut, which allows the tool to cut and finish each series of aligners exactly the same in only two cut passes. Each aligner is still quality checked by a member of our team before sending to our customers.
