I find my treasures at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, yard sales, and flea markets in the Milwaukee region and sell them on eBay and Amazon Marketplace. I love thrifting because it combines my interests in arts & crafts, history, and recycling/up-cycling.
I'm here at the Wauwatosa Goodwill west of Milwaukee on a Monday after work. Will I get lucky? I find: a vintage wood and brass handmade triple candle holder, a vintage Coynes & Co. soft sculpture cat, a boxed Nambe silver metal reindeer ornament, a Dunoon "Nectar" mug by Jane Fern, a Richard Bramble for Jersey Pottery mug, two fused glass plates, a hand-thrown and signed pottery bowl, and a Dean Crouser dragonfly mug. My favorite finds were a red, white, and blue Frankoma thunderbird salad plate set, and a Limoges pink roses soup tureen by M Redon.
