Quick, simple and Free. Prevents wood rot and prevents corrosion of steel cross members.
USE a drop cloth/cardboard to protect drips from getting onto the ground. Once this soaks into the wood the oil bonds to the wood fibers and it's not leaving for the life of the wood. It will disperse/equalize throughout the wood layers over time and appear dry on the surface. Reapplication may be necessary for aesthetics.
