Here’s how you can make a kite with broomsticks and plastic bags:
1: Cut out a diamond shape from a plastic bag.
2: Attach the body of the kite by placing tape lengthwise on the end of each frame edge. Then wrap the tape over the plastic to secure it.
3: Tie a string around the back of the main stick and cross it across the front of the cross stick. Then wrap the ends of the string back around the back of the main stick and make a single knot. Then wrap each end of the string around either side of the front of the cross stick and back again around.
4: Tie another string to both sides of your kite’s spine.
5: Attach your kite line to this string with a bowline knot.
