A little while ago, I created a video about how to play background music on the piano. If you haven't seen it, you can catch it here: [ Ссылка ]
A lot of people liked it! So I wanted to give you another template and more options to help fill space and time at the piano.
It's a useful skill to have. You can use it at gigs, at church, or even just at home to create some relaxing music for yourself and your family.
And the best part is how simple it can be. The technique I'm going to show you today can be played by anyone, even beginners. If you're more advanced, you can use this as a starting point and then explore some more on your own.
Here we go:
- The key of G - 0:53
- The theme (intervals) - 1:13
- It IS a Perfect 5th (whoops) - 1:48
- Making beautiful music - 1:54
- The skills this help develop - 4:10
For this example I only used one note in the left hand - G. If you'd like to explore this a bit more, trying using some other notes within the G major scale (try playing E, you'll love it).
