In this chapter, Guybrush crash lands on Blood Island and sets out to explore the location, leaving his crew behind to work on ship repairs. In his wanderings, he comes across a band of reformed cannibals trying to convert a hungry volcano to vegetarianism, as well as a rundown old hotel whose bartender is only willing to share information after Guybrush comes up with a successful cure for his hangover. When it turns out that the most important of Blood Island's secrets is buried alongside one of the bartender's relatives, there is no other way for Mr. Threepwood than to take a risk and try to join the bartender's long-lost aunt - in DEATH!
