In many parts of Vorarlberg, Austria, farming is still a common source of income. Farmers spend the whole summer with pasture farming, as do the Lingg family, whose alp cheese is a praised delicacy. Their farm lies at an altitude of 2,000 metres. Here they spent their summers with nearly 70 cows. Jakob Lingg produces his cheese according to an old tradition which he learned as a small boy from his grandfather, using only natural ingredients. Today, his daughter Tamara is also taking part in the family business.
