▶ About this video: This video tutorial shows you how to remove all the numbers in a Microsoft Word document quickly using the Find and Replace option.
All numbers can be removed using the method outlined in this video, including whole numbers, decimals and numbers formatted in superscript and subscript.
In the video I also outline how to remove numbers that have certain characters after them (e.g dots) and those enclosed in characters such as brackets.
NOTE: Numbers in decimal have to be removed using the Option 2 method i.e. with the dot representing the decimal symbol. e.g. to remove the decimal 1.3 one would replace ^#.^#
All the methods showcased in this video were recorded on Word 2016 running on Windows 7 however they will also work in other modern versions of Word including Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2019.
