This video honors the memory of Paramahamsa Yoganandaji, the great Kriya Yoga master and a revered Guru of the current lineage. Paramahamsaji took the last conscious exit from the physical body on March 7 1952 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. In the 32 years that he was in the West, Paramahamsaji had blazed his way across the North American continent from Boston to Los Angeles, teaching, initiating, and spreading the message and practice of Kriya Yoga. Kriya Yoga International Organizations represents an authentic and unbroken lineage of Kriya Yoga Masters starting with Babaji Maharaj and including such spiritual giants as Yogiraj Shri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya, Swami Shriyukteshwar Giri, Shri Bhupendranath Sanyal Mahashaya, Paramahamsa Yogananda the author of Autobiography of a Yogi, Swami Satyananda Giri, Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. It comprises of four organizations - Prajnana Missions (headquartered in Jagatpur, Odisha, India), Kriya Yoga Institute (at Homestead, Florida, in USA), Kriya Yoga Centre (at Tattendorf, Austria) and Australia Kriya Yoga Association (at Sydney, Australia). These organizations runs and maintains several ashrams. In India there is Hariharananda Gurukulam at Balighai, near Puri and several other ashrams. In USA, there are four ashrams - Kriya Yoga Institute at Homestead, Florida, Temple of Harmony at Joliet, Illinois, Tempe of Peace at Denver, Colorado, and Temple of Compassion, an ashram for Mothers at Brenton near Houston. In Addition, there is the Temple of Divine Love at Sao Paulo Brazil. In Europe there are two ashrams at Tattendorf, near Vienna in Austria and at Sterksel, near Amsterdam in Netherlands. In Australia the ashram Kriya Yoga Vidya Mandir is at Sydney. In these ashrams and regions there are more than one hundred monastics and more than forty Yogacharyas (household teachers) who serve the missions of the Masters.
