I know so many people (including myself at times) that are loyal to their jobs or the companies they work for. People often go beyond their 9 to 5, pulling late nights or weekends for work, and sticking with awful jobs instead of ever looking for a new job or thinking about applying somewhere else. And while this seems like it's a good thing because you're being a "hard worker" and a "good employee", you're really setting yourself up for disaster. As I explain in this video, studies show that those who switch jobs regularly make a lot more money in their career and are more competitive in the job market. Not to mention, you shouldn't be sacrificing your well-being for your boss or job. Company loyalty is going to kill your career, so stop being loyal!
What do you think? Let me know your thoughts on company / job loyalty in the comments below. Thanks so much for watching :)
