In one of our many adventures in Ukraine, we were handed a genuine russian MRE by a member of Ukraine's armed forces that had been discovered in the forest surrounding Bakhmut.
This is significant because most of the Russian MRE's you find online are produced entirely for export and differ significantly from the rations given out to actual russian troops.

In a fit of what was likely a result of lack of sleep and heatstroke, rather than auction it off for charity like we probably should have done, we decided to open the box and film ourselves consuming it for entertainment purposes.
This was a mistake.

Notes:

1) The reason for the vast amount of sugar has been speculated.
I have now been reliably informed the reason for all the giant packs of sugar was so the MRE pack meets the regulation calorie requirement

2) The factory where this was made was shut down on corruption charges and the number provided now leads to a tractor factory.
