Nigeria has been in the last years, a bloody scenario of devastating attacks against Christians, particularly in the Northern part of this African nation. A complicated political, ethnic, religious and environmental conflict that has left a sequel of thousands of death Nigerians. Faith, political parties, struggle for power, fight for natural resources and ancient tribal rivalries make a possible solution for this violence a very difficult task. Boko Haram, an Islamist fundamentalist group and the Fulani herdsmen have become a serious threat to our Christian brothers and sisters in this country that has been know as the giant of Africa. Mark Riedemann interviews Fr. Paulinus Nweke, who talks about the persecuted Church of Nigeria.
