So this has been a long, very expensive journey for me trying to find the perfect ultralight backpacking tent option. I’ve tried lots of tents from some great manufacturers, and while a lot of them were really great tents… for one reason or another they just didn’t do it for me. With my upcoming 100 mile section hike of the Superior Hiking Trail, i thought this would be the perfect excuse to try another tent that I’ve always had my eye on. We are in a place right now where there are so many great companies out there, it can be hard to choose. This is the second tent from Tarptent I have owned, and while this is really just my initial impressions of the tent, I’m already feeling like I might have finally found the perfect tent for me!
