President Muhammadu Buhari has launched a new security roadmap, "Restoring Security to Nigeria".
The new national security strategy places priority on human security, the adoption of new methods in tackling issues, and proactiveness in handling emerging threats.
The roadmap was presented by the National Security Adviser Mohammad Babagana Monguno at the council chambers of the presidential villa in Abuja.
President Buhari says security and safety have been an integral policy of his administration.
