Is this the look of terror when boating between huge rocks or amazement!!!
Join us for a river boating adventure through the primitive Terraba Sierpe National Wetlands. This is the largest mangrove system in Costa Rica and it covers over 104 square miles! PLEASE SUBSCRIBE and support us for fun and adventure in Costa Rica! There is MUCH more to come in 2023!
This is also the area where the pre-Columbian indigenous people made mysterious large stone spheres that are nearly perfectly round. Scientists do not know why or how they were created. Maybe for Ancient Aliens?

Drake Bay is the remote town on the Osa Peninsula at the end of the Sierpe River. It is the point of access to some of the top eco adventures in CR. The world famous Corcovado National Park and the Cano Island Biological Reserve can be easily accessed by boat from Drake Bay. The trip starts with a drive south on Hwy 34 to the town of Palmar Norte and then head west to the town of Sierpe. The highways are good and the mountains are beautiful. Once in the town of Sierpe, head to Donde Jorge Restaurant which is where the taxi boats dock. Your hotel in Drake Bay should arrange your boat ride. WARNING: DO NOT MISS YOUR BOAT! Other videos state they will call your name, hotel, etc… don’t count on any of that and everyone speaks Spanish. We MISSED THE BOAT and in my broken Spanish, I finally arranged a 3 hour adventure 4x4 ride through the mountains (in the dark) to Drake Bay. The 1 hour boat ride is much more enjoyable to say the least! I believe the boats leave at 10am and 4pm. Drake Bay is a nice town with dirt roads and incredible views of the beautiful bay. I highly recommend the trip!
