The first adventure here in Zanzibar was to visit the only part of the jungle still here: Jozani Forest.
Before everyone started living in Zanzibar, the island was completely covered in forest. Unfortunately with progress and deforestation, only a small part of the forest is still present but luckily protected now. The red colobus monkeys live only here, so they are now considered an endangered species and the forest is their home. Come for a walk with us in the forest and learn more about the animals and plants present here!
