Here's the next episode of Chordplay and this time we're taking a look at some of those expressive and interesting chords coming from the mighty Led Zeppelin.
Jimmy Page is a bonafide guitar legend and his guitarwork with Led Zeppelin during the late '60s and throughout the 1970s is impressive enough for any guitarist to be cemented into rock music history, but Jimmy also played with the historic group The Yardbirds, not to mention outings later in his career with The Firm, David Coverdale, and The Black Crowes (to name a few).
If you add these highlights with his early session/studio work for artists such as The Who, The Kinks, Joe Cocker, Donovan, and more back in the 1960s - this reveals that Jimmy Page is much more than "just the guitarist in Led Zeppelin" - he's a living guitar legend and pioneered an approach/style of guitar playing that has influenced countless musicians all over the globe since the mid-1960s.
