In Montenegro, expect exactly what its name promises: mountains, lots of mountains! Immediately after crossing the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, it will be necessary to push the pedals, but once you conquer Durmitor, a mountainous plateau, the life of a cyclist will be easier and more beautiful. If somewhere, then in Žabljak in the heart of Durmitor, we recommend that you spend two, maybe three nights and explore the surroundings on foot, by bike (without luggage), maybe on a horse or raft.
When the Trans Dinarica will lead you to the southeast, the mountains don't stop, the lesser-known area of the Komovi mountain range on the border with Albania awaits you.
The journey through Montenegro will be demanding, but extremely wonderful.
