A collaboration of the choreographers of Dutch dance and a top selection of amateur dancers. Holland Dance Festival has been organizing a unique talent development project in the Netherlands for years. Auditions are held in five regions with the aim of searching for a select group of ambitious amateur dancers who work towards a festival performance for half a year.
Under the guidance of professional choreographers, the dancers make the step to the big stage, where their personal qualities are the starting point. In this edition of Dance Date you will see new work by Rutkay Özpinar and Nederlands Dans Theater, as well as repertoire by Jiří Kylián, Ed Wubbe and the dance collective 155. Enjoy the sparkling end result!
