Since I couldn't find a video on how to replace the rear sway bar bushings and shackles anywhere on the internet I thought why not do this. Total parts cost of $320 from mercedes-benz. One can of spray paint and some rust remover for the bolts. This took me about 4 hours to complete but I did clean the bolts and repaint the sway bar. Also I installed the bar wrong which took an extra 30 minutes. I would recommend using a lift and removing the wheels for easy of access. Also make sure to remove the rubber bushings on the muffles to get the sway bar out. Over all happy with the outcome but didnt expect the bolts on the shackle to be at about 120 lbs torque and the small bolts were almost rusted on. I would replace all the bolts on the shackle if you really wanted a clean look. Also if you can clean up the upper and lower bushing plates better if you are really a perfectionist. Hope this help out someone who does this next. Most all these cars now with age need to replace these even with low miles. Butch out!
