C-5 has emerged as one of the pockets of growth centers in Metro Manila. All of the ongoing developments along C5 Road will merge in the future to form a massive central business district in Metro Manila.
Robinsons Land Corporation, the real estate arm of the Gokongwei group, is investing about P30 billion for the development its second business park which will be located along C5 road near the Ortigas Central Business District.
The project will be called the Bridgetown Business Park and comes after the success of its Cybergrate Business Park in Mandaluyong City.
It will be a mixed use development with office buildings, residential towers and a retail component. It will mainly be an office building development, catering mostly to the business process outsourcing sector.
Gokongwei said RLC continued to expand its core businesses, which span the full-range from residential development, shopping centers, office buildings and hotels.
The project was meant to further tap robust demand for office buildings, the bulk of which was being driven by the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, but other components such as retail developments would likewise be added.
Robinsons Land Corp will install what could be one of the world's tallest art installations in its newest development, hoping to establish a new Instagram hot spot in the capital.
"The Victor," designed by Filipino-American artist Jefre Manuel-Figueras, is 60 meters or about 20-storeys high. It will be located in Bridgetowne, Robinsons Land's first ever township that also features a bridge that connects Pasig and Quezon cities.
RLC said its new development would feature other art installations from different artists.
The Victor is vying to become the "tallest lighting
projection" art installation in the world.
