Tungareshwar, a green belt situated over 2000 feet above sea level, is a part of Vasai East. It is a wonderful place for trekking. Monsoon and just after is an ideal time to be there. Tungareshwar is well known for its temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located about 3 kilometres from the Tungareshwar Phata in Vasai East
