Mrichchhakatika by Sudraka Summary
The play Mrichchhakatika by Sudraka is a love story between a Brahmana merchant Charudatta and a courtesan Vasantasena. Sakara also wants Vasantasena, but Vasantasene does not love him at all. Therefore, he becomes the enemy of Charudatta and waits for the perfect time to avenge them.
One day, Vasantasena prepares to meet Charudatta in a garden. However, she mistakenly mounts on Sakara’s carriage. When Sakara sees her in his carriage, he becomes joyful. He tries to be nice to her.
