Fairy Pitta (Pitta nympha) is a rare passage migrant to Thailand. Having only been first recorded here in 2009. Most often recorded at Koh Man Nai in Rayong province. To witness it in Bangkok is a special experience.
It is listed as threatened species, and only 15-25% of Fairy Pittas return from their wintering grounds.
I'm sorry it's shaky, I am just filming in my hands with a ~900mm focal length. I don't like to carry tripod, I'm seeing if these short clips are still enjoyable. If not I will only upload footage that is not shaky.
