잇단 대형산불에 휩싸인 美캘리포니아…LA산불 초호화 부촌 위협
Already ravaged by the Kincade Fire, California continues to burn with another new wildfire that threatens areas known for their celebrity residents and high-value homes.
The LA Department said on Monday that the new Getty Fire erupted along the 405 Freeway near the Getty Center in LA.
Around 33-hundred homes are in the mandatory evacuation area, including that of LA Lakers star LeBron James.
Almost 970-thousand homes will also be without power through Monday.
Fanned by fierce winds, the Kincade Fire has now burnt 268 square kilometers of northern California...that's around 40 percent of the size of Seoul that's been turned to ash.
