Learning how to use Homax knockdown wall texture is not difficult. The instructions for using Homax spray texture are easy to follow. In this video, I'll be texturing a sheetrock repair I showed you in a previous video on how to repair a drywall hole in a day.

There are some important things to remember when using Homax spray texture. One thing is, to shake the crap out of the cans! I mean for like 2 or 3 minutes!

The next important thing to remember when using Homax knockdown spray texture is to warm the can up. The instructions say to put the can in hot water for a few minutes. I found that set them on a register for a couple minutes does just as good. Just don't forget and leave them there or the can could explode!

When using Homax knockdown wall texture, you want to continue to shake the can as you use it. Also, if it starts shooting globs, warm the can back up. You also want to spray in a circular motion. This will help make sure your knockdown texture pattern is uniform.
