Protesters toppled a Christopher Columbus statue in front of Minnesota’s State Capitol building in Saint Paul on June 10.
Footage uploaded to Twitter shows demonstrators, who reportedly included Native American activists, crowding around the fallen statue and cheering.
Several other Columbus statues have been torn down or damaged during anti-racism protests across the United States, including one thrown into a lake in Virginia and another beheaded in Boston.
