A 9th Catholic priest has been shot and killed in Mexico in just the past 4 years. The murder followed an attack on the Archbishop of Durango in Northern Mexico after Mass last week. The Mexican Bishops Conference is responding. It says in part, "It is a painful reminder of the serious situation we face as a society, in which the presence of organized crime and impunity continue threatening the lives and safety of so many." Editor in Chief of ACI Prensa, David Ramos, gives us an update on the priest murdered last week in Capacho, Mexico. He shares whether there have been any arrests and why police say the killing resembled those done by the drug cartels. Ramos discusses how the government is responding to the murders of Catholic priests and whether anything is being done. The murder rate in Mexico is climbing higher and higher. Ramos tells us more about the situation on the ground and whether it is affecting the number of pilgrims who want to visit Holy sites, such as Our Lady of Guadalupe. He fills us in on what other stories he is following.
