One day I have damaged the threads of the guide pins on the brake carrier, which is a common issue if you are not very careful with assembly. I could have bougth a new brake carrier OR change/repair the thread only. See the video how is this handled with relatively cheap tools. I am working with Audi TT Mk2 2007 2.0 tfsi 200 HP.
