Wake Tech’s University Transfer programs allow students to earn an associate’s degree while completing core coursework toward a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution. Graduates with University Transfer degrees (Associate in Arts and Associate in Science) have long had the ability to transfer seamlessly to UNC System institutions and many private colleges and universities in North Carolina. But Wake Tech has also made it a priority to develop transfer partnerships for students in Career and Technical programs – students who are earning Associate in Applied Science degrees, making all Wake Tech degrees transferrable to a university for further study. Today, we’re excited to welcome Sandy Dietrich, VP of Curriculum Academic Services and Chief Academic Officer at Wake Tech to talk more about this opportunity for students.
Jeff Hadley, Culinary Arts Department Head, shows us some quick and easy cutting techniques with ginger, avocado, and mango in our Pro Tips segment and Laurie Clowers catches us up on the latest Wake Tech news.
