After a long auditioning process, the World Youth Day office presented their final selection of actors for one of the most significant events of the week.
"The Stations of the Cross are going to be put on on the evening of the 8th day of July of this coming year. It started about 3:00 o'clock in the steps of St. Louis Cathedral... Like anything to live like the life of Christ obviously one needs to find resources, the prime resources. Really spend a lot of time on the scriptures, the scriptures of Christ. A certain amount of reflection. A certain amount of artistic intuition too and thankfully I've been inspiration".
"Faith has been very important to me my whole life so I don't want to take it lightly".
"To play this role is such a privilege. I see Mary as a woman of God that I admire. I see her as such a loyal, and humble, and gracious woman of God so I couldn't be happier".
"We're going to be connected with so many people and that's what people are saying. It's not about what you're doing, its about connecting. That's the big issue here".
"Maybe this role can change maybe the perspective on the traditional Judas. Portraying him as the bad guy because every day we see betrayals occurring on large and small scales and Christians everyday themselves betray".
"It's going to be a challenging role, not just for me but for everybody. But it's going to be exciting as well".
