My wife & I have been regular visitors to the Cook Islands over the past five years but one in particular - Aitutaki! After a short 45min flight from "the mainland" Rarotonga, you'll find yourself standing in the world's most picturesque lagoon being wowed by turquoise colours and clear water (that feels like bathwater!).
It was in Aitutaki a few years back that I was introduced to Kiteboarding and if you ask around, you'll hear that Honeymoon Island (in the Aitutaki lagoon) is one of the world's finest kiteboarding spots.
