Earlier this year I had the privilege of composing a fanfare for the Royal College of Music's Graduation Ceremonies, which is where I study. The background noise you may hear are footsteps and rustling from when the platform party were leaving the stage, as this was a 'recessional' (I.e. at the end of the ceremony) fanfare.
