This year, everyone at Columbia is excited for the return to an in-person celebration for our graduates. The Class of 2022 includes more than 14,400 students from Columbia’s 21 schools and affiliates. They come from over 138 countries, include 181 military veterans, 8 displaced scholars, 76 staff members, and range from a 19-year-old Columbia College student who earned a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature, to a 74-year-old Columbia Nursing School graduate who completed a doctoral degree.
This year is also the first time that Columbia Climate School will grant degrees, when more than 80 students will celebrate during the school’s inaugural Class Day on May 13.
While we are pleased to honor our graduates in person for the first time in two years, we are also thrilled to celebrate on campus with the classes of 2020 and 2021 (#RoarLions2020 and #RoarLions2021).
Be sure to follow Columbia’s social media channels to let us know how you’re celebrating and use the hashtag #RoarLions2022 to spread the word about our amazing graduates.
