Highlights from my holiday in the Komodo Islands in Indonesia. We started our trip in Bali, where we stayed in the AYANA resort. From here we took a flight to Labuan Bajo in Flores, where we first stayed in Meruora Komodo resort right by the port. What stunning views of the ocean and the harbour from here!! One of the highlights here was a really memorable evening at Taman Laut Handayani restaurant. Incredible views, good company, perfect sunset, and really nice food.
From Labuan Bajo we explored the other Komodo Islands that are part of the Komodo National Park. Highlight here was Padar island. One of the best experiences ever. The hike, the views and pink beach were amazing. The beach here is so pink and the water so clear!! It has to be up there with one of the wonders of the world. And we saw Komodo dragons in Komodo National Park!! Then we relaxed at a really pretty sandbar in the middle of the ocean called Taka Makassar.
We finished our trip in the AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach resort, in the hills right by the beach just outside of Labuan Bajo. Surrounded by nature, with stunning views of the coast and the iconic jetty stretching into the ocean. We spent our time here relaxing by the pool and at the Naga Bar on the jetty.
