Chess Grandmaster Boris Gelfand, world elite player through more than 20 years, visited the Danish "Xtracon Chess Open" tournament in July 2016! Boris Gelfand is mostly known for his exciting 2012 World Championship match, which Grandmaster, and at that time World Champion, Vishy Anand won in the tiebreaks. Boris Gelfand won the “ECF 2015 Book of the Year” for his collaboration with Danish Grandmaster Jacob Aagaard, “Positional Decision Making in Chess”. They have been working on the follow-up, “Dynamic Decision Making in Chess”, which is published in hardback at the in August 2016, by Quality Chess. At Xtracon Chess Open 2016, Boris Gelfand, assisted by Jacob Aagaard, gave a lecture, talking about the two books. The lecture was recorded by Tom Skovgaard (DK) from the organizing team.
