Candidates seeking election to four-year terms on the Morgantown (WV) City Council outlined their platforms and answered audience questions at a public forum April 6 at the Hotel Morgan. Ron Justice served as moderator. The election is scheduled Tuesday, April 25. Candidates participating in the forum were: First Ward -- Joe Abu-Ghannam and James Giuliani. Fifth Ward -- Danielle Trumble and Marly Ynigues. Seventh Ward -- Brian Butcher and Ben Mayle. Louise Michaels, who was unavailable for the forum, is unopposed on the ballot for the Third Ward seat. Polls will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
