Here is the Star*light vaporizer by Atman. I have had this unit now for over a month testing it with dry herb. Here is my thoughts on the unit.

At first glance I had high expectations as it felt heavy and comfortable in the hand. It has a simple one button to function the unit. The chamber pot , the screen and mouth piece are magnetic making it very easy to take apart and clean.

To open the unit you need to click it 5 times fast. After that click 3 times to change temp. Then 3 times again to bump it and so on. then to activate the heating cycle hold down the power button for a few seconds .To close it you hold the button down for a few seconds to end the heat cycle and then click 5 times fast to close the unit.
Did I mention you need to do a lot of clicking in order to use this unit 😊.


After using it the first time the vapor produced was thin but vey very tasty. By the way it only has 4 pre set temps for herb or wax. For the herb low temp is 230°F and a high temp of 320°F . For the wax low temp is 410°F and high temp of 500°F. But I love the 410° setting for my session with herb.

Ok back to how this worked for me. On the low herb pre set temp vapor was very thin but tasty so I bumped it to the + temp for herb. BTW this unit heats extremely fast! At this temp the taste was still very very tasty but still very thin vapor . Nonetheless after the session you get good results. I wanted more vapor so I went to the wax low temp 410°F and tried a session on that temperature. Let me tell you that it is the sweet temp for this unit for taste and thick very thick vapor. And with the big air path moulded into the mouthpiece the vapor was not hot at all ! It is by far my favourite heat setting on this unit.

If you are looking for a vaporizer under $100 this might be the one for you . Its not the sleekest or most discreet of vaporizers, but i guess that is what you get for a kick ass battery!! Man this unit keeps going and going on one single charge.

I would rate this unit 6 out of 10 .

The reason for this low rating is the hot unit issue and the complicated clicking of the one button that gets confusing no matter how often you use it. If they could fix the hot body issue and simplify the clicking of the single button I think a high 6 would have been my rating. Cause the Starlight produces unbelievable smooth tasting vapor! Plus it is so easy to clean and load with removable chamber pot . I am hoping that Atman will take note of these problems and make the proper changes .
