Ingredients to AVOID during Winters or if you have Dry / Sensitive Skin :
Vitamin C
Hyaluronic acid
BHA acids (like salysilic acid)
Winter usually brings on dry, sensitive and chapped skin. Even for people with normal, combination or oily skin. And ofcourse, if you already have dry / sensitive skin - the condition gets worse. Sometimes ingredients such as Vitamin C, Hyaloronic Acid, BHA acids, who have an acidic nature, can cause further irritation and stinging of the skin, as well as increase sensitivity. Therefore, they are best avoided during winter and / or if you have dry / sensitive skin - all year round.
If you must / want to use these ingredients, make sure to combine them with hydrating and soothing ingredients.
Or, Ingredients like vitamin C & hyaluronic acid can be supplemented by having nutritional vitamins / supplements so that your skin can get them via and internal source.
