This is the fourth of a series of workshops on R offered by the AI for Multiple Long-term Conditions Research Support Facility in November 2022 (NovembeR).
This fourth workshop took place on 22 November and is an introduction to data visualisation using the package "ggplot2". The workshop starts with finishing up some content from the previous workshop about data wrangling (joining, reshaping, and exporting datasets). That's followed by a brief introduction to data visualisation principles and a hands-on part explaining how to iteratively create line plots, scatter plots and bar plots.
This is a live coding workshop broadly based on the Data Carpentry lesson R for Social Scientists ([ Ссылка ]). It has been extensively adapted for use with COVID-19 data from the European Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC; [ Ссылка ]).
If you are a complete beginner, please start with the recording of the first workshop ([ Ссылка ]).
The slides and other materials used in the workshop are available on the AIM RSF GitHub repository for training ([ Ссылка ]).
