A new suspension footbridge built by CH2M Foundation volunteers, near Gasura in Rwanda, has brought joy, song and safe passage to the local community.

The CH2M Foundation has partnered with the non-profit organization, Bridges to Prosperity, to build a pedestrian bridge in Rwanda.

B2P focuses solely on footbridge construction and training. The community-driven projects build sustainable bridges that help provide basic access for community residents to healthcare, education and local markets.

B2P is a CH2M Foundation enterprise community partner aligned to our focus area of Building Sustainable Communities through infrastructure.

This project in Rwanda builds on the success of our first project in Panama in 2014.
