Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid an emotional tribute to the people who lost their lives during the second wave of the pandemic. A teary eyed, PM said, "this virus has taken away many of our loved ones from us."
The PM was interacting with the medics and frontline workers from his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi. During the second wave of Covid-19, it was among the worst-hit region of the country's most populous state.
