Addressing a rally in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, home minister Amit Shah said that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) won't be taken back despite the number of nationwide protests being held against it. He added that anti-CAA parties were disillusioning the public by spreading false propaganda against the act and the BJP because of which the party was conducting an awareness campaign. He also blamed Congress and several party leaders for dividing the country.
