I decided to share my experience with you as i didn't found any other how to's related to these two products combined...
I bought the Zotac GTX 1080Ti mini cause it was cheaper at the time, but i was not so happy with the temps in overclock. After I accidentally broke 1 fan i decided to upgrade to Arctic ACCELERO XTREME III in hope to finally release all the "mini" potential...
The installation wasn't easy as you will see in the video(the first part is an edited and clean step by step "how to"for educational purpose, the "gone wrong section" at the end of the video is the reality i've experienced: thermal paste cleaning issues , spacers issues,sinks placement issues...Instructions papers are too generic IMO, but with a lot of patience you'll get to it...i made it in 3-4hours cause I felt alone in the process so do not fear if you get stuck somewhere it's normal just be patient, gentle and think carefully on what you are doing to your card...
Anyway in the end Arctic EXCEEDED my expectation as you will see in 3dmark and Unigine benchmarks...the overclock is calibrated for a 24/7 use, I could go past 2000MHz but not every game can handle it or is that optimized for Overclocked systems....
It was an hard trip but the struggle is really worth.
