It’s confirmed, a planetoid nicknamed “Farfarout” (2018 AG37) is now the most distant known object in our Solar System. The object was first detected in 2018 at Subaru 8-meter telescope located atop Maunakea in Hawaii. Recently, a team of astronomers studied and characterized the Farfarout, and confirmed its orbit, making it the most distant object in our Solar System, bypassing the previous record holder another distant object “Farout” (2018 VG18).
