Here’s a look at the Long Beach Island surf at 1pm (right about high tide, 12:40). There’s a swell on the bars in the 2-3 occasionally 3-4’ from Hurricanes Epsilon (correction to name the storm’s name I said the Greek goddess Persephone). As far as an update on the LBI Fishing front... there beautiful water right now. It’s clean and gin clear. All the sea weed here at the time of the video was pushed up to the high tide’s edge and sea wall. No report yet today however yesterday there were fish caught. We had a striped bass weighed in that was caught in a Bomber lure on the beach. Also had a weakfish caught reported as well as some tog from the Inlet.
Now’s a great time to get a line wet. The next week or so we expect to see the first push of striped bass as they migrate our way. Let’s Go Fishing!
